Prime Communications Provides Internet Connection for De La Salle Schools
June 25, 2008

Prime Communications provides Internet service for seven De La Salle schools. It won the bid for leased line Internet service for one year with bandwidth of about 60 mbps in total, delivered via wired and wireless facilities.

These seven schools are De La Salle University - Manila, De La Salle - College of Saint Benilde, De La Salle Araneta University, De La Salle Lipa, De La Salle University - Dasmariñas, La Salle Green Hills and De La Salle Santiago Zobel School."

"We are proud and deeply honored to be the partner of one of the premier universities in the Philippines," said Jojie Yap, Prime Communications president. "Their renewal with us is a testament to our capability to deliver superior customer satisfaction which other providers could not give satisfactorily."

The partnership with De La Salle begun since 2004 and expanded this year with more schools availing of Prime Communications' services. " They appreciated most our very good after sales support and quality of service, which has brought us into a good business relationship until now," Yap said. "The other schools which had previous positive experience with us recommended Prime Communications to their colleagues and resulted in us getting majority of the overall bandwidth requirement of De La Salle."

The procurement for Internet connectivity had gone through bidding, which was headed by the Central Procurement Office of De La Salle Philippines (DLSP). The partnership is backed by rigid service level agreements that can only be delivered by an expert and experienced Internet service provider.

"Prime Communications' bid price was fair. Among the factors we looked at in choosing them were after-sales support, technical capabilities, and previous performance," said Dr. Quebengco AFSC, Executive Vice President of DLSP.
